Emarid College is a significant part of my success story

Emarid College is a significant part of my success story which I am ever grateful for. Through the college structure, schemes, my seasoned and dedicated teachers, I had a solid foundation for my career and life, which has been an added advantage.

The academic standard was record level and the award system, scholarship, prize giving day, etc were strategic in making me tow extra miles to ace all my subjects. At Emarid, it became my default objective to excel in everything I do.

Imperatively, the exposure at Emarid broadened my horizon and inculcated the right values in me which were highly instrumental in shaping my life. These include Godliness, Excellence, Discipline, Diligence, Integrity, Hardwork and were intentionally taught to students.

The secrets to good success embedded in Emarid’s anthem positively refined me. As we recited it daily, it became my reality. With Jesus Christ and Emarid’s tenets, I was certain of being destined to excel, although I did not know when or how it will happen. While I did my best, I handed over the wheel to Jesus Christ.

More so, I was equipped with the understanding that I can accomplish all things I set my mind on, through Christ and that with God, nothing is impossible. Philippians 4:13; Luke 1:37.

While in Emarid, I concluded I would study Law and would clinch First Class Honours. While some glaring facts existed to deter me, I trusted God and put in the work just as I was taught at Emarid College.

By God’s grace I have broken some records, I currently hold Double First Class Honours in Law, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2019, became the Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child on Education, have an international career and set to be all God destines me to be, including raising and mentoring others.

I must commend the Director, Pastor Belemina Obunge. Despite his packed itinerary, he made out time to be part of students’ lives and those moments inspired me greatly including preparing me for Leadership.

I had a wholesome secondary education which addressed every aspect of my life in transformative ways.

At Emarid College, I got a sense of who I am, the potentials I had and the multifarious opportunities I needed to utilise.

Here I am today, soaring and excelling in life. I am thankful to Mr. Boloupaye Eradiri and my mum of blessed memory Mrs. Rose Eradiri for working tooth and nail to ensure I get the best secondary education at Emarid College.

To all my Teachers, you are deeply appreciated and forever in my heart.

God bless my Teachers.
God bless Pastor Belemina Obunge.
God bless Emarid College
